Major challenges faced

Challenges faced

• Game mechanics development
  • Making and managing a camera object that would display the map based on the axis of gravity and character location at a given instant in the game.
  • Deciding and implementing a method to represent all the maze levels (60+) in the game with least complication and overhead possible.
• Creating and Managing resources for the game
  • The animation clip present at the start of each game was extremely difficult to draw and put together into one final clip.
  • Designing a character sprite that would look good even as it would make implementation of character animations like walking easy.
• Level Designing techniques
  • Implementing easy to understand tutorial levels at the start of the game.
  • Custom designing 64 unique levels with progressive difficulty and variation.
• Game testing
  • Obtaining data from user testing and making various changes accordingly.
